Salt City Sweet Shop opened their flagship's doors in 2018. New to Herriman, the store's owner, Debbie, quickly amassed a local following.

When COVID-19 started to spread across the world, small and big businesses alike, along with schools, offices, parks, movie theaters, and other parts of everyday life shut down. Salt City Sweet Shop, a local-favorite candy store in Herriman, Utah, was among these thousands.
